Did enlighten me on some aspects of DID, of which I was previously unaware. However, there's way too much religion in the book, which was not listed in the description. I find it particularly offensive esp considering that most "Christians" believe those who suffer from DID are "possessed by devil. "
As someone with DID I found this book insightful. It helped me not feel alone and gave me hope. I bought a copy for my husband after we got into it while I was someone else. I’ve been working on my problem for two years now and he has been very supportive but when he asked me to explain what’s going on while I was the other, I saw red. I quickly recommended this so that he would “get itâ€. I think it has helped him.
Great read for anyone who truly loves their significant other and wants to be there prepared and committed. The journey is hard but true love stays.
So glad to read a book that helps explain what I have been,going and have not been through yet. Thanks to this book I have an insight on what to expect or may expect. Thank you Thomas With for putting yourself into a book I can find knowledge in.
