Found this mesmerizing. It is my go to when I need to unwind. Not only is it relaxing & patterns are complex enough to keep you occupied but you also have added benefit on rough days of getting to scratch away your frustration. Unlike coloring books all supplies are included. No need to carry around coloring supplies & find a place to spread them out. Toss book in your bag & you are ready to go. If you want to color opposite every sketch is a page to color which I am also enjoying.Another huge advantage is unlike foil it doesn't tear. You can use different strength to add artistic touch.** Reccomend doing them backwards forward since it you don't have gentle touch it effects other pages. After you do the art don't notice.Really hope they make more of the Extreme Scratch & Stetch !!You can use tool it comes with. I prefer to hold a thinner wooden tool so I took one from another Scratch & Draw that I had & sharpened it with a nail file bc wanted very fine point
Bought this for my 9 year old nieces birthday and she loved it! I got similar books for my younger niece and nephew as well and I've already got requests for more at Christmas! I specifically look for the trace along at the top for the trace-along tag note. (I also have found that most of the "art activity story book are also trace along.) The trace along part ensures there is a picture to trace out rather than having to make the picture up based on the image to the left. (Much better for children). The left side of the book pages are white. I believe my niece was planning on coloring that part in as well with colored pencils. Unsure of her succcess with that but I'm not sure why it wouldn't work. To note, this one is not a story and the picture a little more detailed. I don't think I would give this one to a child under 8 unless they have done these before and specifically want a challenge.
This product is exactly how it is described. Perfect for on the go. Great size all in a binder. I love how you can color the picture on one side a nd the other side you scratch.
I had to take it away from my girl just so she would eat din din. Very well done book! But it's complex. It's not for a 4 year old. This is something that would even challenge an adult with good motor skills (I know, I tried lol). Bravo!
This is great! I'm a huge fan of these books and I breeze through them quite quickly, but this one challenges me and keeps my attention for longer periods of time. This is my favorite relaxation activity! I did have to sharpen the wooden tool so I could get the details better.
Saw my boyfriends 5 year old cousin using one of these and had to get one for myself!!! Awesome when you want to just hang out and not use your brain. Really addicting and really pretty designs. Totally ordering another once I’m done with this one.
This is so much fun and great price and very pretty and unique designs will buy again fun for adults and kids
Love the trace along books by this company. The book size is perfect for traveling. While primarily for children, there’s enough detail to entertain most adults.
